Thanks to the large back plate, diameter readings are significantly improved and are three times less sensitive to wheel condition and measurement process compared to the MiniProf Wheel 250.

As with most similar instruments, the diameter is based on the commonly used Versine measurement principle and the assumption of an ideal wheel without local deformations. This should always be taken into account when manipulating the diameter.
