MiniProf BT TwinHead systems are constructed similarly to single-head systems, but consist of two measuring heads mounted on a fixed beam.

Two opposing profiles are measured sequentially one after the other. The measured values ​​are stored and accessible as individual profiles or together in pairs in one common coordinate system. This provides high accuracy on the gauge and accurate detection of any profile rotation, which is a key part of any wheel-rail interaction study.
