Disc and drum brakes are susceptible to moisture and dirt penetration. This results in severe deterioration of braking properties. Due to the mechanical movement of the parts, BSS is pressed into the pores of the metal surface, filling the depressions and treating the surface. The resulting coating provides excellent protection against the penetration of water, dirt and salt.
